Cello is a mobile app that helps you learn to use AI tools in everyday life. It provides daily prompts, guided journeys, and stories about practical AI use cases.
Cello collects minimal data to provide a seamless experience:
Account information: If you sign in, we receive basic authentication credentials to securely verify your identity. Your email address is stored exclusively in our authentication system and is never visible to other users or accessible through the app. We store only your first name to display alongside any comments you post.
App usage & content: We store your journey progress, streaks, saved prompts, and comments. This data is stored locally on your device and securely on our servers so you can access your profile across devices.
Cello uses a service provider to generate audio for daily prompts and stories. This feature only reads Cello's pre-written app content — no personal information or user-generated text is ever sent to this service.
We do not collect browsing history, location data, contacts, health data, or financial information. We do not use analytics trackers, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with data brokers or advertisers. We only share data with service providers as necessary to operate the app.
Cello links to and recommends third-party AI tools. When you leave Cello to use those tools, your interactions are governed by that service's privacy policy.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings > Delete Account, or by contacting us at the email below. Upon deletion, your profile, progress, and comments are permanently removed from our servers.
The app is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll note the date of the last update at the top of this page.
